ReFuAh' Health and healing

Raw or Vegan~it is Time to discover the health and vitality G-D wanted for us.

I'm asking for suggestions for getting rid of ganglion cysts, I had one on my wrist, it got popped, but another is showing up on the back of my hand. I'm taking RAW1's advise on chickweed, and no salt. Are there any more suggestions? I am a serious knitter and spinner and am not about to let this stop me from my crafts. I really want to nip this in the bud, as Barney would say.

I thought it might help if you can read before you go out.
I have not found a salt that definitely works for me. Table salt does not, seasalt does not, Himalian salt does not, we can get salts from plain unsalted vegetables like celery and parsley. Those do work well on my body, especially as juice, I recommend them. I am just a person, try for yourself. And give thanks to the creator and provider. Aren't these plants beautiful? Can be very cleansing and soothing.

Now I remember seeing cysts that were ganglion, I apologize for not recalling before.

I have one of these on the top of my foot. I am a hand spinner, and use the spinning wheel a lot. The repetitive motion of peddling my wheel has caused me several issues, one being the cyst.

I love to use Tiger Balm on it, for now, while I gather the things I need to make my own salve for it. Any 'heat' creating salve/herbs/EO in a carrier oil will bring relief by increasing the blood flow, and actually seems to soften, and shrink my cyst.

One thing that I have found that also helps tremendously is increasing my B Vitamin intake, and cut out caffine. Caffine blocks our body's ability to uptake B Vitamins, and will even rob any that is in our tissues. This, of course, leads to a mirad of issues, but some of the most obvious and first to show up are joint and tissue problems. My carpal tunnel is kept under control with daily doses of a LIQUID Vit. B suppliment I get at the health food store.

HTH,

I got some chickweed today, and will try some salve and will get some B vitamin later on, any one B or just a combination?

Multivitamin, but B2 is big for join and tissue health. Go for liquid vitamins if you can, as the pills are a waste of money, and most of them end out going out the shoot, and into the toilet anyway. A recent study published showed that nearly 80%!!! of all pill, vitamins, etc that we take are not even assimulated by our bodies, but dumped into our septics and sewers! Shots are by far the best way to go, as far as getting it into the tissues fast, and making it stick, but I am not a big fan of invasive methods (shots, vaccines, surgery, etc), and have found the liquid to be much, much more cost effective ($25 a month vs. $15 a week!!).

Have fun with the chick weed salve. I need to make some of our salve, myself.

I have the tea, do you ave a recipe for the salve?

I don't like B2, for me, but them I don't have ganglion cysts, baruch hash-m. B2 is added to a lot of packaged foods, but synthetic adding vitamins can be harmful, look for foods naturally high in B2, you can get more healing there.

Sorry this took so long for me to find! I don't get to get on as much as I like, and am not real keen on being able to find all the comments, questions, and requests that are posted towards me in a very timely manner, it seems. When I am on line, I am often having to do a lot of work (business, study, or homeschooling), and my free time is spread between several groups and such, so it can be hard if I don't get a direct 'nudge' that there is a question waiting for me.

Anywhoo.... salve, very, very simple. Dry your herbs a little first, to cut back on the water content so the salve will keep longer, and more of the herbs nutrition and benefits go into the salve, not just 'filler' water. Even just leaving them over night to wilt helps.

Second, you'll need a good quality, (organically rised is good, but not accurate since who knows what kinds of flowers the bees visit within their flight each day) as-raw-as-possible bees wax. I like to use a single filtered, local beeswax from the folks I get my honey from. This single filter gets the worst of the bee bodies, etc out, but leaves all the good properties in.

Then, organic, cold pressed, virgin olive oil is the best oil for salves.

Put your herbs (preferably coursely chopped) in a heavy bottomed pot (small 1 quart pots are the best for small batches), then cover with olive oil. I then warm my oil, over the stove on the lowest setting, and let it sit, uncovered for a couple of hours, checking often to be sure it's not over heating or bubbling. Filter the oil, through a tight weave cheese cloth, or a clean peice of tee shirt (the cheese cloth works better for me). Return the oil to the pot, rewarm, then shave in about 3 Tblsps of beeswax per cup of OO for a good consistancy. You can check your salve's consistancy once the wax is well blended and melted by putting a little on a spoon, and setting that in the freezer. In about 10 mins, check it. If it's as firm as you like, it's good to go, and you can pour into your molds. If it's too soft, add more wax, too firm, a little more oil, and then check again.

Gerri, how are your cycsts? I went through quite a bout of pain, and a second cyst developing on my foot all of the sudden. I've increased my vinegar/molasses intake a bit, and have found keeping LOTS of water going through has helped a lot. Of course, I had a group pray for the foot, too. It's doing really good!

Hi my name is Diana, and I know what you mean about ganglion cysts. I had six of them in various sizes on my wrist for 15 yrs. Recently they just disappeared. I realy belive that God healed them. Another thing that I did was about 2 months ago I started taking Aci Berry Juice. I take the full strenth w/o any other thing added to it. I take 1 oz a day every day. It helps on these things. Also it is very good for you and it has many antioxidents in it. You can read about it on the internet.
Try resting the hands often. I have found out Ganglion cysts come from stress on the tendons and museles. Injuries can cause them too.
God Bless. Diana

Mine are receeding again, also. I've started to take extra vit. C, and Vit. E (1000 mg) daily. I am SO relieved that the pain is finally receeding. I also believe that eating less meats has helped me a lot, at least as far as the pain goes, and that I may well have been suffering from gout, as well.

But, even so, all these things may have nothing to do with it at all, and it is simply a case of answered prayers.

Shalom.....
