- I've been studying my Hebraic roots for almost 4 years, I used to live in Orangeburg, and studied Torah with the Restoration of Israel Ministries, for a few year. Moved to New York in 2007, but really haven't found any where to fellowship with.
The strangest thing is when I arrived in Brooklyn, what I thought would happen was not what Abba had planned. I'm currently helping a pentecostal pastor, her ministry is powerful, and she basically follows Torah, with out knowing it. I am sure that she is learning from me, and I seem to have a lot still to learn. I know that every thing comes in season, and when Abba is ready He will have something else for me to do. I am committed to doing His will, and that the spirit of Torah is more important than anything. I am constantly asking the Ruach to guide me in the right way. In the long run the ultimate one I have to please is Yahweh. In the mean time I keep everything in my heart, and in body when I can. I miss, though, miss actually lighting candles on Shabbat, the closest thing I have is a battery powered candle, because actually lighting a candle in my room is not practical or safe.

- Yes, rather kosher like, I find myself reading labels more.
- Interests (outside of Raw or Vegan Food):
- Studying Torah and helping Yah's people, Knitting, weaving, Spinning
- What do you think of Perscription drugs ?
- Baloney, including the animal by products.
- What are your thoughts on Holistic /Natural healing ?

Surviving Without Shoestrings, Because I ate them
I am learning how to survive without electricity, it has been out since last Tuesday, and without heat. If it is not on today I will have to go into a shelter tomorrow, and since my job ended, welfare is next. But thank Yah that I am in New York where help is available.

As for finding good food on public assistance, have you looked around for local farmers who are able to take food stamps? The number of farmers who have signed up for the program is increasing here in WA in leaps and bounds, making fresh, locally grown foods much, much more accessable for low income families now days.
It angers me SO much that the poor are forced to eat garbage while others are able to pick and choose from any thing, healthy or otherwise, without a thought in the world. EVERY ONE has a right to eat food that will give them good health!
