wow! I have had christians pray over me for my hearing, but I heard Abba say, "learn to hear Me first," so I am working on that, lol. I am very gratful that He made sure I can still enjoy music, I do love it so. I can't enjoy singing an awful lot, some, but not much. But, music, strings especially, I love.

Todah for the sweet comments, too. I don't take compliments well, so, I don't know what to say, lol ;0)

B'vakasha, Yahaloma. My kid lost hearing of the right ear completely, and after five years it came back, complete! If it be His will that the way we hear should be restored refuah shelemah to you :) If not, let me tell you my observation: You my dear, are an absolutely aMAZIng person. To me? You are perfect, my friend. I'm glad you enjoyed feeling the music I posted. Thank you for sharing the experience.

Ah, hon, you described me to a T. Some very simple, shallow research has shown I am Jewish in my background, at least on my mother's side (both grandparents). My father is German, but that could very easily be Jewish, as well.

I LONG, YEARN for the things that you speak of, and yes, RAW music is one of them. I am nearly completely deaf, but I FEEL music unlike a lot of people. It effects me in ways that is so hard to explain. I am 5th generation musician myself, and before my hearing started to get so bad as a child, I played flute and clarinet, and sang in choir. I've written songs with a dear, dear friend, with her writing on the piano, by feeling the music as she played, and I would just sing what came out. I MISS these things, and hope again someday to be able to sing for YHWH, without fear of being out of tune.
